Hello Shug’s Fam-Friends, Supporters & Neighbors!

We have been trying to figure out what to do with our kitchen space since pre-covid conception in this location. As some of you know, we had an overwhelmingly large menu & kitchen staff when we first opened late summer of 2021…which was never really part of the original plan. It came in with a bang and scarred like an accidentally lit firecracker. Since then, we were able to dwindle down to a more manageable size for a bar. However, it has continued to not really fit with our original, but evolving direction.

Therefore, at this time Shug’s kitchen will no longer hold regular business hours. This will allow more time to focus on our bar that also serves as a music, art and private event venue. There will be menus available from our downtown neighboring eating establishments. Salisbury’s food scene has a lot to offer and deserves everyone’s support!

We plan to eventually hold pop-up kitchen hours. If this works out, it will allow established chefs, aspiring chefs and interested creative cooks an opportunity to highlight their skills & imagination. However, for now I plan to rest for a bit in this area. Phew.

I would like to add…this decisions by no means has anything to do with our amazing kitchen staff that have been a part of the heart & soul of Shug’s. We have an incredible team and plan to continue to make great memories together.

Please look out for our upcoming St Paddy’s Day food specials…they are always a hit! …we may run out of some of our favorite regular menu items over the next couple of weeks. Come in and get our delicious farm fresh burgers & brats and other freshly made food before it is all gone!
